you already know what the answer should be. The 3000GT has given you good service at a low cost. If you buy the Z you're getting a car of unknown quality. And it sounds like your other Z32s have been problematic. Even if the Z is a fabulous specimen, you acknowledge that they are "useless" in the winter. So even if it's a gem, by changing cars you will be sacrificing transportation in snow and ice. IMHO, as you have laid the facts out, to pick the Z32 over the 3000GT is a decision based on emotion and not on logic (i.e. likely usefulness, dependability and thriftiness).
